Our Instructor
Vincent Tabscott is an assistant instructor for the adult program at Valhalla and has been the Director and Head instructor of the kids' program since its creation in early 2014.
He began BJJ training in 2003 and has trained exclusively at Valhalla since the school was founded in 2010. He is a brown belt under Dr.Brian Jones.
Vince takes on the alter-ego of mild-mannered sous chef by day, but under that chef coat hides his true identity: Samurai-Ninja-Berserker Man. He developed his extraordinary patience to teach children by being married a really long time and raising two children of his own. When not cooking or teaching BJJ, Vince enjoys spending time on the firing range, plunking on the bass guitar, drawing, drinking beer and telling cleverly awful dad jokes.

Special thanks and gratitude to Clay Clement, David Farris, James Escaloni and my instructor and mentor, Brian Jones for investing their time, talents and friendship in me~
